    The world’s appetite for Italian music had not worn away and the major musical figures travelled. Boccherini, for example, left Lucques, passed through Vienna and Paris, to eventually settle in Madrid…

    As both soloists and prolific composers, the musicians outlined in this programme are fantastic showcases of the musical cross-culture at the end of the XVIIIth century.
